The free version as software has a limit of maximum 2 GB data to recover. Obviously, their paid versions has no such limit. In our case, needed amount of data to be recovered was very less than their limit but the directory needed to be recover on hard drive had photographs, videos, MP3 audios, ZIP files, text files – in short an odd mixture of different types of files. The software’sGUI basically very easy to use so that a new user who is not much used with various types of programs or not a coder can use it. The software essentially is just a wizard based software for recovery of wrongly deleted files (or recovery of files lost in some other way). The wizard is about selecting the target device or partition, type of scan, type of files etc and run the wizard. The speed of scan is quite faster than another software we had to use to recover files.
We guess, this software will support to recover files from our Sony A68 and Leica M9’s storage media. It is practical to be cautious and test these kind of software before actual loss takes place. Wrong deletion of files from digital camera is quite commonly done mistake.
