Possibly Many Need AirTel Home WiFi Huawei B310 LTE CPE Router Review To Decide For Home or Office or Development Need as Router Device. There are significant difference between these two models offered by AirTel and Huawei. First and foremost, this AirTel Home WiFi device officially is for 4G network only. The software used by both the devices is same.

AirTel Home WiFi Huawei B310 LTE CPE Router Review

It is relatively newer device in Huawei’s catalogue (released around 3rd quarter of 2015). Huawei B310 is LTE Category 4 technology like Huawei E5573s-606 Hotspot. There is another model named Huawei B310s-22 supporting all important frequency bands for LTE, UMTS and GSM. The maximum speed on WiFi Huawei B310 LTE CPE Router is 150 Mbit/s in the downlink. There is a Gigabit Ethernet port (RJ-11) for the connection of an analog telephone,  also a port (RJ-45) for quick connection of the router to the local area network. The other LTE routers has limitation 100 Mbps LAN interface, but this can use up to 150 MBit/s. But only one LAN port forcing to use hub or switch for the router to multiply RJ-45 ports or use ADSL router. On the back side, there are ports for LAN, telephone, 2 x 2 MIMO external antenna and SIM card slot. There is an independent external power unit. Other things are just easy. Setup is just easy vis WiFi, unlike AirTel Huawei E5573s-606 Hotspot, there is no USB port. Ethernet port is officially shown to connect to ADSL router.

Conclusion

It is a good model to buy if you are going to use the internet for wired network sharing in typical networking way. AirTel Home WiFi Huawei B310 LTE CPE Router is not fully good choice over AirTel Huawei E5573s-606 Hotspot as AirTel the former officially supports 4G only, you can not move around with it with the hope of 2G, 3G fallback. While the later has no RJ-45 port. Current networking standard is Cat 6 ethernet cables. Still it is half-router! Is it yet practical to consider for serious works? It is still Cat 4 and ethernet patch cable and hardware becoming difficult to find in workplace. We are not talking about compatibility but currently used stuffs for networking. These cat4, cat6 are related to types of twisted pair cable. If we need to buy another ADSL router for advanced works, then what wrong AirTel Huawei E5573s-606 Hotspot did or why AirTel not offering Huawei B310s-22? Absence of RJ-45 port on AirTel Huawei E5573s-606 is the difference? If that is true, then why AirTel not using Huawei’s other models of MiFi which has RJ-45 port?

Huawei is good but Indian ISPs serious are either joking or has no idea around networking.
