Hosting WWW Subdomain on Rackspace Cloud Files CDN is Quite Easy. You need to resolve your root domain to an IP and add the container as CNAME. Practically we have written this kind of guide many a times. Naked domain is difficult to point towards a CDN. We will suggest to use Jekyll or OctoPress instead of pure HTML Templates. OctoPress has lot of Plugins now, supports pretty permalinks, categories and Tags.
A SSL certificate will cost $10/year for the basic need. You can actually serve a full SSL website under few dollars per year hosting charge. Unfortunately, there is no direct way offered by Rackspace at the time of publishing this guide to host the naked domain directly.
