Screencasting YouTube Live Event Demands Some Technical Know How. We Will Show How To Stream Live Event Using OS X and Wirecast. YouTube Live Event is a Special Feature, as we wrote before about YouTube Live Event; actually the quality of Audience matters to activate this special feature of Youtube. Keep in mind – we are actually registered for Business as Broadcasting and Publication Media; so probably it is activated. The theory of 100 subscribers minimum is actually wrong. It probably gets activated after real life checking. Unless you have YouTube Live Event active, obviously; it is meaningless to read this guide.
Screencasting YouTube Live Event : Taking the Shortcuts
For Broadcasting 1080p HD Video, we will recommend to use High Speed Internet and use a buffer of at least 30 seconds. Personally I think, the Computer should be a Mac Pro with 8 GB of RAM (or equivalent Multi-CPU Server with KVM) with no other Applications opened. If you can not afford high speed Internet, use very low resolution. All stuffs should be of highest quality for the optimum result.
We recommend to run a Private Live Event on the first run and it should not be dry / empty. Live Broadcasting is NOT Really any easy thing. If a simple thing goes wrong, audience will not understand the complexity behind. Test hundred times, just like YouTube.

Screencasting YouTube Live Event : Using Wirecast
Wirecast is a Freemium Software. Wirecast and YouTube co-promotes their stuffs. The advantage is – Wirecast has a YouTube Special Edition. That has Free as well as Paid Options. You can Broadcast literally anything. If you are using Hardware for Capturing Media, still we think this is a good option.
Wirecast makes the thing easy, however the minimum complexity of system requirement for streaming out from your computer actually remains the same. YouTube has official Guide on using Wirecast.
Download Wirecast (You will get link after you create a Test Live Event – Set Audience to Private).

Launch Wirecast for YouTube and sign in with the App. Configure your audio and video sources. When ready to start encoding, click Stream button on the top left corner. Choose to stream to Primary server. You still need to start the event on YouTube. Practically you can select an old recording and stream to test.
The video is not created by us, the YouTube UI has changed too. But still this is the best video tut in our opinion. We actually did lot of CLI works before we found it : (
