Quite obviously it covers many parts like from generating podcasts, managing Podcasts, publishing them and the required software, hardware etc. has has been in written details for Mac users, Linux users & Windows users. Podcasting Audio and Video : Basics
Most of the basics about Podcasting Audio and Video, mainly theoretical in nature, has been discussed in our article on Podcast and Podcasting. There is nothing going to change as far definitions and basic technology goes. Podcast is made up of the trademarked word iPod from Apple and Broadcast.
Podcasting Audio and Video : The Production Part
---
This part, so far goes, has never been discussed in our website. But as the things are really about high quality and video production, except mentioning the softwares, we really have not much to offer you. Each particular episode of your podcast show is usually an audio file, typically this is a .mp3 file. For Video Podcasts, .mp4, .m4v, and .mov video formats are allowed. The maximum video size supported by each device is/are :
- iPhone 4, iPhone 4s: 960×640
- iPod touch, iPhone 5: 1136×640
- iPad 2, iPad mini: 1024×768
- Apple TV: 1920×1080
- iPad with Retina display: 2048×1536
So, at minimum your videos should of 960×640 resolution. For Mac, practically you will need no extra software, Garageband is quite good software itself. For Windows, possibly Sony Sound Forge is the best solution for better quality audio recordings. We can download our own videos from YouTube – so there are already made things if you are a blogger with minimum professional thought!
Podcasting Audio and Video : Server Part
Obviously, we will require a RSS feed and for practical purpose; this a special web software – all are free and quite easy to install on your server – it is better to go with subdomain, not subdirectory if you think your production will need big space in future. From technical points obviously, subdomain will offer more flexibility. This part we have wrote in Installing Podcast Generator on Rackspace Cloud Sites guide. There are more free good web softwares now; like :

We have not checked all the softwares.
Podcasting Audio and Video : The Submission Part
This is dedicatedly discussed on the article Publishing Podcast on iTunes. We think, this is enough to give a good idea.

Managing and Delivering Podcast Audio and Video From WordPress can be easily be done in an advanced setup plus you can use CDN or deliver YouTube Video as well. Podcast and WordPress can make the older posts more lively again. A small introduction Podcast can increase the conversion. Here are two older guides :
