cenny.js is an excellent plug ‘n play and open source backend for Cloud based web apps of all shapes and sizes. Practically cenny.js has javascript and one PHP file, which can be custom configured. We were browsing GitHub for other reason, found this cenny.js to be quite useful. Basic problem of today is, many non-Cloud based Web Apps are uploaded to Cloud and made to run. The Applications which basically can not use the advantages of Cloud Computing platform, runs in a sort of legacy mode. We are not going to that part, you will probably get all the answers against the queries in your mind from these two articles – Browser Based Chat, Screen Sharing System With HTML5 WebRTC and Characteristics For Being a Cloud Application. Compatibility is basic topic to learn about. Let us enter the topic cenny.js and Web Apps.

The contribution is very less – Editing a readme file (from RTF to markdown). Do not wrongly think that we have been paid by the developers of cenny.js. That affiliate, low quality product promotion is mainly done by a group of bloggers. We have nothing to with their business part, if any such exists. Anyway, go to this webpage :

cenny.js : Source Code and Development
There is an Indian blogger. Big person, but the developments include WordPress Sitemap Plugins to get immense number of backlinks, other ‘developments’ are without open source code.
If we do not understand these kind of sort of cheating, these free developments will never ever proceed faster, here is the source code of cenny.js :

Here is the PHP file for the Server :

Basically, this can be used in conjunction to other software for backend, like for own iOS App. Now the client part, which is a Javascript :

After Editing, minify it. It has too much white spaces. We noticed around 10% reduction in size after deleting the White Spaces. Practically you can use Rackspace Cloud Files or Dropbox for serving the Client part.
The logo / icon used is of cenny.js is for decorative purpose and we have no copyright claim over the same.
