As we have upgraded, Color Profile normally should not get changed – but it was changed to default. So, many things are actually changed while the upgrade went. Definitely OS X Mavericks is designed for Retina Models of 15″ or higher sized displays. The preciseness of the graphical elements can be potentially missed with smaller screen – even with 15″ MacBook Pro (Mid 2012, Non-Retina), may small artistic graphical elements might be missed.
