Installing Drupal on OpenShift PaaS Video Guide shows the easy steps to install ready made Drupal on Free OpenShift PaaS. We have also shown the basics of CLI. Although this is a video guide, we are providing the minimally needed knowledge to carry on the usage of Drupal. Please keep in mind, I am not used with Drupal like WordPress, I mean I know the basics about Drupal but not a core developer like for WordPress Software.

We ultimately will need the Command Line Tool like we have described in this article with further hyperlinks towards important articles on OpenShift. In this guide we have shown how to install Drupal as Instant App from the Web GUI / Control Panel.

You will find the Add Application button. In the next web page you will find lot of applications and platforms. Under Instant App you will find Drupal :
Actually clicking it and giving the instance a name is enough to install Drupal, MySQL and PHPMyAdmin. We have shown a bit more though in the Video Guide. We have also shown how to delete the Application, in fact we started with deleting the third application to install Drupal !
