New Google Plus Cover PSD : Dimensions and Free PSD Layout
Basically I downloaded the default image from my Google Plus profile using Opera Dragonfly tool. The positioning of the other elements are based on visual estimation, so for very much sensitive work, where 1 pixels measurement might matter, might need a calibration by you ! The round profile image is cropped by Google Plus from a square of 120 x 120 pixels dimension.

The size of the New Google Plus Cover is 1534 x 860 pixels. The height can be used of a lower size, possibly up to 164 pixels (I have forgotten the exact digits). I am using a MacBook Pro 15″. I have not checked on my bigger resolution screens and / or MBP 15″ Retina. 1534 pixels is so big, that basically its hard to do a sober design for personal profile, as for Twitter Cover, the same thing goes – it is better to use a image design like my Twitter profile’s one with darker gradient.
