Previously we published about Virtual Appliance on VMware Fusion or VirtualBox to Test CMS. You can use the same basic technical principle for WordPress Virtual Appliance. Apart from these ready made WordPress Virtual Appliance links, which you will have to update manually to the latest version of WordPress, you can actually create your own WordPress Virtual Appliance.
What Are The Advantages of Using WordPress Virtual Appliance Over Localhost Installation of WordPress LAMP Stack ?
For Windows PC, running a LAMP Stack by any method is a simulation not the real LAMP Stack. So actually you need to run Linux or (Mac) OS X to physically run —AMP stack as demons.
