Getting a verified blue tick was something that was previously offered to companies, organizations, and people who are notable. Many people working on the internet know that some agencies and people simplified the process of becoming notable. There are some “verified spammers” with paid news appearances, Wikipedia biography etc. It harmed various sectors. Some shady marketers could convince the innocent and sell their products, courses and services. Twitter was already offering a blue tick subscription for the past year. These are our assumptions, and conclusion after studying various comments and discussions.
Twitter Blue subscribers with a verified phone number will get a blue check mark after a review process. Subscribers will be able to change their details (account handle, display name, profile picture etc) but a modification of these data will lead to a loss of blue check till it’s been reviewed again. The Blue subscribers with their tweets will appear at the top of replies, mentions, and search to prevent spam, and the subscribers will see half the ads of non-verified users. Also, the subscribers will be able to edit their tweets, post longer videos, upload videos in 1080p and enjoy a few other features.
If you are just a media consumer or a casual usual, we do not think that you need Twitter Blue Subscription. Twitter Blue Subscription is indented to aid internet marketing efforts hence it is suitable for internet marketers, entrepreneurs, bloggers and so on (who make money from the internet).

Now the businesses will get a gold check mark, and government accounts will have a grey checkmark. Twitter Blue is now available in the U.S., Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and the UK, with plans to expand to other countries in near future.
Twitter Blue Subscription: Why Some People are Criticizing?
Many social networks have single or multiple layers of premium profile subscription plans. Subscribing to LinkedIn premium costs quite higher, DeviantArt does not charge lesser.
Some people are paying the premium on those social networks without much complaint because they are used to the paid layer since the beginning. Many of the influencers do not need to pay for the premium tiers every month, but they subscribe to the paid membership for a few months every year, according to their marketing plan.
A paid subscription is an inevitable progression of any social media company since making money only via advertisement forces them to show more ads.
